Bountiful

Tracie and I can say we highly recommend earthboxes for gardening!!

We have had such a plentiful harvest!  The yield is crazy with these things!  I have never gotten so much out of a traditional garden.  We are still getting a few squash, zucchini, and cucumbers but we probably picked close to 100 of these.  And no, I am not kidding.  Tracie joked that her skin is turning green:)  We've had enough zucchini to make us sick.  Well, not really sick, but you do get sick of eating it.

This is okra.  I've tried and tried to grow okra in the past.  In these things, no problem!  The stalks on these bad boys are huge.  They started out as these pitiful little plants.  We didn't even think they would survive.
These are peppers.  There's red and purple ones and jalapenos too.
Cantaloupe!!!  They are almost ready!  Everytime I have tried to grow these in a traditional garden they end up rotting before they are big and ripe.  We'll probably be able to eat these this week!
We have literally hundreds of tomatoes growing and ripening as we speak.  This is what I picked yesterday!  The green one was lying on the ground but I couldn't just leave it.  So we'll see if it will ripen.

We are looking forward to planting fall crops and seeing what they do.

wow! So you'll have to tell me how you made these earth boxes. I may like to try a couple next year for the things like the cantelopes, etc. We do good with tomatoes and cucumbers and stuff in our garden, but can't seem to get the other stuff to work. Send me a link or something for directions if you can.

I'm seriously with Laurie here.

We have spent COUNTLESS hours putting in gardens in every year we've been married, except this one (deployment + new baby meant I wasn't gonna do it myself). The weeding kills me!

This looks so organized, so pretty, and best of all, the harvest looks great! I would love to have all the info as well.

Awesome! I know you put a lot of work into this!!!
